John Wick fans, rejoice!

Comicbook.com talked with Lionsgate EVP and Head of Global Products & Experiences, Jenefer Brown, who said they're working on a fifth John Wick film.

This world continues to grow and expand in incredible ways,” Brown shared with ComicBook about the franchise’s future. “Up next, of course, we have Ballerina, which is our first spin-off movie and [we] can’t wait for that to release to the world. Of course, we’ve announced we’re working on a fifth John Wick film. I think there are more spinoffs to come, a TV series, video game.

News of a fifth installment is music to my ears. Honestly, I never bought that John was truly gone. That classic movie trope – 'if you don't see a body, they're not dead' – kept echoing in my mind.

We saw a battered John, then a headstone, but no final confirmation. To me, it always felt like a cleverly staged escape, a way for him to finally shed that life.

Now, with a sequel seemingly confirmed, I'm buzzing with anticipation.

The thought I've been rolling around in my head since the credits rolled on John Wick 4 is, what about a prequel? I'd love to see the legendary mission that secured John's 'impossible task' and his ticket out. With today's de-aging technology, Keanu Reeves could easily transport us back to John's earlier days.

The bottom line is that I'm a die-hard fan, and I'm ready for whatever the John Wick universe throws at us. Bring on the action!
